Whitepaper The rules

Risk and disclaimers

What $GLITCH is in legal terms, the risks of holding it, and the limits on who this document is for. Read it.

What $GLITCH is #

$GLITCH is a memecoin: a digital collectible created for entertainment and internet culture. It has no intrinsic value, no backing, no claim on any asset, revenue or business, and no function other than being collected, held, traded and used for the community features described in this document.

Nothing in this document, on glitchonsol.com or in any post from the crew is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy anything, or financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Nothing here is a promise that the crew's work will increase the value of $GLITCH or the Glitch Card. The roadmap is a plan of work, not a value forecast.

There is no expectation of profit #

Do not buy $GLITCH expecting a return. The crew does not manage anything on holders' behalf to produce one. There is no yield, no dividend, no revenue share. The card burn described in The burn is not price support.

Risks #

Holding a memecoin can lose you everything you put in. In particular:

  • Volatility. Memecoins routinely move tens of percent in minutes and can go to zero. Coins tied to events have historically sold off hard on or right after the event. November 19 is such an event.
  • Liquidity. The only market may be a single pool. You may not be able to sell at any price.
  • Platform and smart-contract risk. pump.fun, PumpSwap, Metaplex, Solana and every wallet involved are third-party software with their own bugs and failure modes.
  • Copycats and fraud. Tokens using our name exist. Buying the wrong one is a total loss.
  • Intellectual property. Although the project uses only original work, a rights holder could still object. A takedown of the domain, the X account or a marketplace listing would disrupt the project.
  • Regulatory change. Rules on crypto assets are changing in every jurisdiction. A change could affect whether and how $GLITCH can be traded or marketed where you live.
  • An anonymous team. The crew is pseudonymous. You cannot pursue anyone if something goes wrong, and you should weigh every claim here accordingly, which is why we make them checkable on-chain.
  • Key risk. The card's signing key is held by people. Keys can be lost or stolen. It is designed to hold no funds and no authority beyond its one job.

Jurisdictions #

This document is published for information. It is not directed at anyone in a place where buying, holding or trading $GLITCH would be unlawful, and it is not a marketing communication aimed at any particular country.

  • United States. Under the SEC and CFTC interpretation effective March 23, 2026, meme coins and digital collectibles are not in themselves securities. That interpretation does not protect assets sold with promises of profit from a team's efforts, which is why this document contains none. It is agency interpretation, not statute, and it may change.
  • United Kingdom. Nothing here is a financial promotion to UK consumers. UK rules impose risk warnings and a cooling-off period on crypto purchases through regulated firms. Follow your provider's process.
  • European Union. Fungible crypto assets fall under MiCA. $GLITCH is not issued through a licensed entity, and this document is not a MiCA whitepaper.
  • United Arab Emirates. This project does not market virtual assets in or to the UAE.

If you are unsure whether you may buy a memecoin where you live, do not.

Taxes #

Buying, selling, swapping and burning tokens may be taxable events where you live. That is your responsibility.

No warranty #

The site, the games, the card and this document are provided as they are. We try to keep everything accurate and correct errors when they are pointed out, but we make no warranty of any kind.

Privacy #

What the site does with data is described at glitchonsol.com/privacy. The short version: no accounts, no cookies, a wallet connection only if you swap on /buy, a country-level counter, and photos that never leave your device.
